Day Training for Dogs in Calvert County

Want to give a boost to your training? Schedule Day Training for Dogs. Calvert County Only

Maybe you want to help your dog generalize their training to another handler. Or, maybe you’d like someone to pick up your puppy for a socialization outing, while you relax, run errands, or work.

Check out this affordable add-on to your private dog training packages. At $45 per hour, you get a lot of bang for your buck, with one of our junior trainers, who works directly with your dog. This session is for just the dog and does not include in depth coaching for the human. For coaching that includes both you and your dog, please check out our new client packages or returning client lessons

Not a client yet? Unfortunately, this offer is only good for clients who have already purchased a dog training package. If you are interested in becoming a part of Calvert Dog Academy, we would love to work with you AND your dog. We believe that a great relationship with your dog has two ends to the leash, the human end and the dog end. Prior to a junior trainer working individually with your dog, we like for our senior trainers to work with the dogs alongside their humans.5

How much day training do you recommend?

There are so many benefits to getting a day training boost for your dog. For maximum effect, consider scheduling 2-3 day training outings per week.

Where does the day training for dogs take place?

We can work at your home or take your dog to a nearby location for training.

For young puppies, under a year old, it is crucial for their development that they get out and about to experience the world while they are still young. Socialization is time sensitive. The younger the dog, the greater the impact.

For adult dogs with aggressive reactivity, we provide decompression walks to help your dog relax. During this hour in a nearby quiet area, your dog will enjoy a peaceful sniffari walk. The sniffari activates a dog’s brain.

Dog Friendly Day Training Locations

Imagine all of the fun that you and your dog can have together! In order to get there, it can be helpful if your dog first gets comfortable with going out and about. We can help! Dogs are creatures of habit, so if they get in the habit of going out, then they will be accustomed to the atmosphere of your favorite places. It’s so much fun to go out and about with your dog!
